About Us

Bundaberg Hockey has been part of the Bundaberg community for many years and has a rich history locally and further afield.   The Association runs a local competition and caters for all age groups from juniors through to senior players.  In 2024 the Association had approximately 435 playing members

Where we Play

The hockey facilities and clubhouse are situated at Hinkler Park, Thornhill Street, North Bundaberg.  The facility has four grass fields and one artificial turf surface.

Competitions

The Association runs a local competition that usually runs from March to September each year. Age groups are catered for in competitive divisions for U12, U14 and U16 in our juniors – through to Division 1 and 2 senior age groups for both men and women. We also run a junior Modified program for Under 7’s and U10’s players. Our four Clubs compete in our local competition in all Divisions.

Canteen facilities

Bundaberg Hockey runs a canteen throughout the season and this is run by our capable canteen convener and a band of helpers from all the Clubs.  Cold and hot drinks and a variety of affordable snacks and meal items are available.  We also have bar facilities for those that like that refreshment with a meal or after a game.
